Code and AI handoff

Use deterministic Copy Code and configuration-aware Copy AI Prompt without sending project data anywhere.

Scout UI provides two local handoff surfaces. Neither scans a repository or calls a hosted generation service.

Copy deterministic code

Copy Code validates the current configuration, emits public imports and required styles, includes non-default props in stable order, and shows the exact text before copying. A lazy Shiki worker improves presentation only after plain code is already visible.

Copy an implementation prompt

Copy AI Prompt assembles an ordered local template from the same registry and configuration. It includes the component, package, exact selected values, integration intent, accessibility, reduced motion, SSR, cleanup, and verification requirements relevant to that component.

Understand what Scout UI does not know

The prompt generator does not know repository structure, styling conventions, framework choices, or target files unless the developer supplies context. It instructs a coding agent to inspect unknown facts rather than asserting them.

Keep context private

Target location and project context stay in the prompt sheet only. They are not placed in Share URLs, history, analytics, localStorage, or sessionStorage. There is no model call, API key, repository scan, or prompt transmission.
